Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick or equivalent. Shown in colors Peanut, Cilantro & Fisherman.
Yarn weight: Category 6 Super Bulky
Hook:
US Size H (5mm)
Fabric Stiffening Spray (I use Stiffen Quik from Hobby Lobby) Stitch markers, as needed
Finished size:
Mini- 4” height x 3.5” diameter
Medium- 5.5” height x 4.5” diameter
Jumbo- 6.5” height x 5.5” diameter

Pattern
This pattern is worked in the
round and does not join at
end of each round. Use stitch

Round 13, Jumbo size is worked through Round 17. To achieve horizontal line pattern down the evergreen tree, flip tree inside out.
Begin with a magic circle.
Round 1: work 4 sc in circle.
Round 2: working in front loop only, work 2 sc in next st, repeat around (8 sts).
Round 3: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next st) repeat around (12 sts).
Round 4: working in front loop only, work sc around (12 sts).
Round 5: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next two sts) repeat around, (16 sts).
Round 6: working in front loop only, work sc around (16 sts).
Round 7: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next three sts) repeat around (20 sts).
Round 8: working in front loop only, work sc around (20 sts).
Round 9: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next four sts) repeat around (24 sts).
Round 10: working in front loop only, work sc around (24 sts). (for mini size, finish & weave in ends).
Round 11: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next five sts) repeat around (28 sts).
Round 12: working in front loop only, work sc around (28 sts).
Round 13: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next six sts) repeat around & finish off (32 sts). (for medium size, finish & weave in ends).
Round 14: working in front loop only, work sc around (32 sts).
Round 15: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next seven sts) repeat around & finish off (36 sts).
Round 16: working in front loop only, work sc around (36 sts).
Round 17: working in front loop only, (work 2 sc in st, sc in next seven sts) repeat around & finish off (40 sts). Finish off & weave in ends.
Finishing touches:
This pattern is designed for two pattern looks. Work evergreen pattern as is to achieve, smooth stitching. To have horizontal striping pattern down evergreen, flip tree inside out after finishing off.
Above (tan): smooth stiching
Below (white): horizontal lines (reversible)
To keep evergreens shape, I use a fabric stiffening spray once finished. I spray both inside & outside of tree and let dry overnight. Be sure to form tree as desired before spraying.
